So Happy for this great family, in just 3 years now a full restaurant. Hot n New still have 2 mobile Taco Trucks working events around Metro Detroit. Just opened a couple weeks ago in Vinewood Mexican Bakery Wyandotte Mi. Such explosive flavor in every bite of those Tacos, Al Pastor and Chorizo Steak mixed Campacano my favorite. The food was *amazing*, hot and fresh and ready when I got there. The owners are truly so kind and seem to genuinely care about serving the neighborhood. All in all, love it, & will definitely be back for more. PS, the Birria Torta is where it's at Would have added a picture but ate it too fast lol
Twins is now open in Wyandotte on Vinewood at Vinewood Bakery and they offer carry out and in restaurant dining. Just opened May 2nd and I was there day one! Same awesome people working there and the service was great. The food though is better then any words I can come up with and I'd just say go and pick anything on the menu that sounds good to you. You will not be disappointed, no matter what your choice is. Not only does it taste awesome, but the prices are very reasonable, even competitive to other restaurants serving food that doesn't come close to the quality and taste you get at Twins. I still get the surf and turf burrito, without fail. But everything else I've got for myself or for friends when I'd go to the truck, has exceeded everyone's expectations. Also just wanted to mention how cool it is to see a restaurant in the Vinewood Bakery. It's a really cool environment and it's quiet with it being just off neighborhood street. Another thing I'd point out is the fact that the day I went, they had customers eating in and carrying out. But there was no issues with parking at all and there was plenty of space without ever taking up spots that local families may use at their homes. Their Quessabirria (spelled that wrong probably ...) is so good and they have it in many different ways if you want. Including a birria burrito and birria ramen even!! I've driven an hour in traffic just to get to their truck, and I would've continued doing that if I had to. But this brick and mortar shop they're in now is just perfect. I hope word of mouth really gets out for these guys. They deserve any praise they get. And follow them on Instagram to hear anything from them. They're open from 7am-7pm daily, Sunday 7am-5pm, posted on Instagram as well as their menu. Missing this place would be a regret for anyone that loves awesome food in a nice and quiet environment.
I read Steve R's review and just had to try it! OMG THE BEST SURF AND TURF EVER! Soooo good with all the flavor of the steak and shrimp coming through! Will definitely be going back! Thank you Steve R for the recommendation !
Surf and turf burrito is the BOMB!! Not only is all the food I've had there been delicious, the staff is friendly as well. Best taco truck in the area.
